Terms of Service
Effective July 21, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of slideso.com and the Slideso application, operated by [Company legal name](“Slideso”, “we”, “us”). Please read them carefully — they include important limits on liability and how AI-generated content may be used.
01. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Slideso, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Slideso on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
02. The service
Slideso is an AI-assisted tool for creating, editing, exporting, and sharing presentations. We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we may set limits (such as credit allowances and file sizes) to keep the service reliable for everyone.
03. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Slideso.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.
- Accounts are for a single person or organization and may not be shared publicly.
04. Plans, credits, and billing
- Free plan. Includes a monthly allowance of credits that refreshes each month and does not roll over. Presentations exported on the free plan carry a Slideso watermark.
- Paid plans. Billed in advance through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Credits. Generating a presentation spends credits (one per slide). Credits are consumed when generation starts. Editing, restyling, presenting, and exporting existing presentations do not cost credits.
- Prices and taxes. We may change prices with notice for future billing periods. Prices exclude taxes unless stated; you are responsible for any applicable taxes.
05. Refunds
If a generation fails, the credits it would have cost are refunded to your balance automatically. Fees already paid for a subscription are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. Downgrading or cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period; your existing presentations remain available to you.
06. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload and the presentations you create. You grant [Company legal name] a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display your content — including sending it to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy — solely to operate and provide the service to you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for residual backup copies and anything we must retain by law.
You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights needed to upload and use it, and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate any law.
07. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or that violates others’ privacy or intellectual-property rights;
- use Slideso to create spam, malware, or deceptive or fraudulent material;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or its security, or circumvent usage limits or the free-plan watermark;
- resell or redistribute the service itself without our written permission.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
08. AI-generated content
Slideso uses AI to draft and edit presentations. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or similar to output generated for other users. It is provided “as is,” and you are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing anything you rely on or publish. We make no warranty that generated content is accurate, original, or fit for a particular purpose.
09. Our intellectual property
Slideso, including its software, design, branding, and the built-in themes and templates, is owned by [Company legal name] and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and its templates to create your own presentations. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual-property rights to you.
10. Third-party services
Slideso relies on third-party services, including AI model providers, our payment processor, and export destinations such as Google Slides. Your use of those features may be subject to the third party’s terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.
11. Termination
You may stop using Slideso and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if necessary to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licenses granted to third parties before termination, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI-generated content will meet your requirements.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Company legal name] and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless [Company legal name] from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing-law jurisdiction — e.g. the State of Delaware, USA], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of Slideso after an update means you accept the revised terms.
