Questions people ask before paying
What is a credit?
One credit generates one slide. A ten-slide presentation costs ten credits. Editing, restyling, and presenting are all free — credits are only spent when the AI writes new slides for you.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Generation pauses; nothing else does. Your existing presentations stay editable and presentable. Credits reset at the start of each month, or you can upgrade to get more immediately.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Credits reset each month rather than accumulating. That keeps the price predictable — you're paying for a monthly allowance, not a balance you have to manage.
What if a generation fails?
You're refunded automatically. Credits are charged when generation starts and returned in full if the presentation doesn't complete, so a failure never costs you anything. Every charge and refund is itemised on your usage page.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, in one click from your billing settings, with no cancellation fee and no email required. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, then move to the Free plan. Your presentations remain yours.
Do I keep my presentations if I downgrade?
Yes. Every presentation you've made stays in your account permanently, and stays editable on the Free plan. Downgrading only reduces how many new presentations you can generate each month.
Why is the Indian price lower than the US price?
It's priced for the local market rather than converted at the exchange rate. Slideso costs ₹399 a month in India instead of the ~₹1,000 a straight conversion of $12 would give — and unlike US tools, there's no 18% import GST or card foreign-exchange markup on top. You're billed in rupees by an Indian entity.
Which payment methods can I use?
In India: UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking, and wallets. Everywhere else: all major credit and debit cards. Subscriptions renew automatically, and you'll get an email receipt for every payment.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan is the trial and it doesn't expire. You get 30 credits every month — about three ten-slide presentations — with the full editor and presenter mode. Note the word every: most AI presentation tools now give you a one-time grant that never refills, so their free plan is a trial wearing a different name. No card required to start.
Can I get an invoice for my company?
Yes. Every payment generates a downloadable invoice with your business name and, for Indian customers, your GSTIN if you add one at checkout. Invoices are available from your billing page.
Still deciding?
The free plan doesn’t expire and doesn’t need a card. Generate a few decks, see whether the output is worth presenting, and upgrade only if it is.
