An AI slide generator that designs every slide as real, editable elements

Slideso's AI slide generator designs each slide as a real layout: a heading, body copy, charts, tables, icons and images placed by a layout engine that measures every text box. Generate a whole deck or regenerate one slide, rewrite any block with AI, then export editable PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides.

How does an AI slide generator decide what goes on each slide?

Slideso plans the deck first: an outline of one idea per slide, which you can edit before anything is designed. Then, for each slide, a model chooses the layout and writes the copy, and a layout engine computes exact positions so text fits, charts line up and nothing overflows.

That split matters. Models are good at deciding that a slide is a comparison, a big number or a timeline; they are bad at arithmetic about where a text box ends. So Slideso lets the model pick the composition and the words, and does the geometry in code, measuring every line against real font metrics. The result is a slide that survives being edited: move a chart and the text does not fall behind it.

Can I fix just one slide without regenerating the deck?

Yes. Every text block has rewrite, shorten and expand actions, so a weak heading or paragraph is redone in place rather than the whole deck. Charts and tables are edited by hand, images can be swapped for your own or searched, and any slide can be restyled with a theme change.

What kinds of slides can it generate?

Title and section covers, agendas, bullet and icon lists, big-number and stat slides, bar, line, pie and area charts from data you paste, comparison tables, timelines, quotes, team and closing slides, each drawn from a library of designed compositions rather than one template repeated.

  • Charts: paste numbers and the slide draws an editable chart, not a picture of one.
  • Tables: real table cells that survive export to PowerPoint.
  • Images: from your uploads or a stock search, placed to the layout's crop.
  • Speaker notes on every slide, editable and shown beside it in presenter mode.

AI slide generator vs a template: which should you use?

Use a template when the structure is known and only the content changes: a QBR, a pitch, a proposal. Use the generator when you are starting from notes or a document and want the outline written for you. In Slideso the two combine: pick a template, then generate into its structure.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AI slide generator?
The best AI slide generator is the one whose slides you can still edit afterwards. Slideso generates each slide as real elements on a measured layout, lets you regenerate or rewrite any slide, and exports native PowerPoint. Its free plan refreshes 30 credits monthly.
Is there a free AI slide generator?
Yes. Slideso's free plan gives 30 credits a month, and one credit generates one slide. That covers about three ten-slide decks a month with the full editor and export; free exports carry a small watermark.
Can the AI slide generator make charts from my data?
Yes. Paste or type the numbers and Slideso draws a bar, line, pie, area or scatter chart as an editable chart object, which stays editable after export to PowerPoint. You can change the series, colours and type afterwards.
Does it generate speaker notes?
Yes. Every generated slide comes with speaker notes you can edit, and presenter mode shows them beside the slide with a timer, so the deck can be rehearsed and delivered from Slideso itself.
Can I generate slides in Google Slides format?
Slideso exports a .pptx that Google Slides imports fully editable: open slides.new, choose File, Import slides, and pick the file. Everything stays editable in Slides.
